FAQ - How does my church join NorthStar as a member?

If you are a church interested in joining the family of churches of NorthStar Church Network: An Association of Baptist Congregations, the following is our process:

Letter of Request:   Provide an official lette­r requesting membership into NorthStar Church Network by vote of your church.  Send letter to PO Box 1470, Annandale, VA  22003 

Meetings: Have key leadership of your congregation attend the following required meetings:

  1. An overview meeting in the Spring which presents an overview of NorthStar's ministries and services.
  2. Next, a meeting will be arranged to examine your congregation's constitution and bylaws.
  3. Be present at NorthStar's Annual Meeting in October when churches are presented for membership in NorthStar Church Network.

Please phone the Annandale office at 703-941-6822 by April 1 to let us know if your congregation wishes to explore the process with membership in NorthStar Church Network. Also feel free to phone the NorthStar's staff if you have questions concerning the membership process.­
