WHO WE ARE
Identity Statement: The NorthStar Church Network is a diverse family of autonomous congregations committed to practicing Baptist Distinctives and living out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.
Purpose Statement: We exist to strengthen congregations by equipping them to maximize their mission, ministry capabilities and potential.
Task Statement: We create cooperative mission and ministry opportunities and coordinate, organize, energize and equip member congregations to live out the Great Commission.
NorthStar Church Network is a network of about 168 congregations representing a wide diversity of ethnic, language and cultural groups. Our congregations are diverse in background, worship style, music preference, and ministry emphasis.
Member Congregations are located in the counties of Arlington, Fairfax, Fauquier, Loudoun, Prince William and the Cities of Alexandria, Falls Church and Fairfax, Virginia.
We are divided into four geographic regions in order to encourage networking and fellowship among member congregations, decrease travel distances for meetings and training events, and to create a system that allows the NorthStar staff and leadership to serve and provide a high level of attention to all member churches.
